"The Musical Theater Center in Rockville, Maryland creates opportunities for youngsters to get infected with the theater bug. For many years, it has inspired young people through classes (students include my youngest daughter) and given them the opportunity to perform in quality productions featuring young performers. Last season it inaugurated an adult professional troupe-Break-A-Leg Theater Company-which is now presenting a joyful production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the Randolph Road Theater in Silver Spring. If Break-A-Leg continues to stage pieces like Charlie Brown in years to come it should complement perfectly the other activities at MTC, and may encourage some future Bernadette Peters or Jerry Orbach to take a class and who knows what might happen next."
